Legendary of 28 Familiaris

28 Familiaris was an old-type school of Philippine grimoire dealing with invocation of the 28 holy names of Infinite God paired with a 28 words of power (short orasyones) to command and bid a spirits by its wielder.

Mastering of this system that can help one in every day dealings and activities.
It has been used by many mystics in the Philippine Islands for their spiritual missions.

From Ka Tik's site a legendary tale goes about this grimoire:

Once upon a time there was a man begging a help to St. Ignatius of Loyala because the man made a pact to the devil in order to avail a cure for his ailing brother until then, the devil was really hunting this man to take his soul as a payback of service. St. Ignatius begged to him, he knows this man was a good person and he was distressed only. Sudennly the devil appears to them, St. Ignatius asks the devil do not take the man away instead the devil agrees that St. Ignatius as one the replacement. So the devil swiftly takes St. Ignatius fly away to the dessert, as long St. Ignatius feels the encrouching sharp nails of the devil he never lost a hope. He had strong faith in God and he invokes " QUES O DIOS"( I Have Faith, Oh God")after he uttered these, the devil explode on the air so St. Ignatius landed softly on the sand of dessert. Near on it site he saw a some shining objects of the remains of the devil as he approaches he collected a 28 golden triangular medals engraved with one-eyed in the center.
